Acacia Wood Balance Bowl
Our bowls are lovingly hand-carved by a small team of artisans in a rural town in the central Philippines. They use time-honored techniques passed down through generations and work with only sustainably harvested and licensed wood. This unique bowl is stylishly functional and our go to for serving pistachios!

MEET THE ARTISANS
Each piece of our acacia wood collection is hand-crafted at a small family-run workshop outside of Manila in the Philippines. Thanks to this work, they have become a cornerstone of their community providing training and employment for a team of 130 rural men and women. We also love that this enterprise is run by the women of the family.
“Our story is the history of our work. Wood carving is rooted in tradition because the carvers bring the old knowledge with them. They have never changed their ways. They always hold the wood item by hand, all items are done manually, and traditionally they never use a jig or a pattern - this is why no piece is really exactly similar. We do not even use routers.”
