A talented stone sculptor named Luke Jimu carves these beautiful dishes from serpentine stone. A small polished bird perches on the edge of each rough-hewn oval bowl. Sold singly; two sizes available. Because this is a handcrafted item, each bowl has a unique size and shape, and coloration of stone many vary.

About the Artisans:
Zimbabwean artist Luke Jimu and his team work with springstone, which is a prized dark stone that polishes to a high shine because of its density. Most springstone is sustainably sourced and is mined on communal lands for the purpose of sculpting.
