Meet the Artisans: This amazingly talented group of 35 self-taught men and women artists bring jacaranda wood to life at their studio in Kajiado, Kenya. Working as a collaborative community, they carve and paint these delicate pieces entirely by hand. Each artist receives comprehensive training on-site from current members, ensuring the continuation of traditional woodworking skills while providing sustainable employment that strengthens the entire artisan community.
