Olive Wood Coffee Teaspoon Set

This set of 4 olive wood spoons comes packaged in a cheerful hand-sewn pouch made from traditional East African kitenge fabric. Each spoon is hand-carved in rural Kenya from sustainably harvested wood and finished with food-safe sunflower oil.

Spoons measure approximately 4 inches but please note that slight variations will occur and add hand-crafted charm.

MEET THE ARTISANS

Collins has been working with olive wood in rural Kenya his entire life.  He and his team cover large areas collecting fallen wood.  At their workshop, they hand-carv each bowl and spoon into beautiful tabletop pieces. The entire community benefits from this skilled trade and the area is now known throughout Kenya for its woodwork.     Collins' team has recently grown to 30 artisans.
